Complaints Policy
How we handle complaints about our journalism.
daoserver takes complaints seriously. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within two working days and to resolve substantive complaints within twenty working days.
How to make a complaint
Submit your complaint via our Contact page, clearly identifying the article, the date of publication and the nature of your concern.
Review process
Complaints are reviewed first by the section editor and, if unresolved, escalated to the Editor-in-Chief. Where a factual error has occurred, we will correct the article and, where appropriate, publish a note of correction.
External review
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the New Zealand Media Council.
